The term derives from the name of a month in the ancient Celtic calendar, in particular the first three nights of this month, with the festival marking the end of the summer season and the end of the harvest. Perhaps there is hope though.  Several people have recommended that I indulge myself and read the Twilight series and insist even if they were originally intended for young adults ( much like Harry Potter) that they are meaty enough for  adult teeth to sink into.  So perhaps I will pick one up and see where it leads to.

The Villisca Ax Murder House.

Villisca was a close-knit community in those days but the peacefulness here was shattered on June 10, 1912 with the discovery of eight bloody corpses in a house along one of the town’s tree-lined streets. The J.B. Moore family, respected and well-liked members of the community, along with two overnight guests, were found murdered in their beds. And now, more than 90 years later, the crimes remain unsolved.

Fall Equinox, also known as Mabon, occurs in the middle of September. It is the main harvest festival of the Wiccan calendar and marks the beginning of Autumn. Elizabeth Bathory was born in August of 1560, a member of the prominent Barthory family. Her father had been a ruler of Transylvania When she was fifteen she was married to Ferencz Nadasdy, a Capathian Count. His wedding gift to her was Chatice Castle, in the Capithian mountains. In 1578 Nadasdy became the commander of Hungarian troops in the war againts the Turks. When her husband went off to war for long times, she was left with her servants for long times on end in her Hungarian castle. She was well educated and was able to conduct business while her husband was gone, as well as write four languages. But this could not cure Elizabeth’s bordem. She was supposedly taught the Dark Arts of magic from a wizard named Thurke. She was also seen going off with an unknown man who reportedly was dressed in black and had pointey white teeth. She returned alone from visiting the stranger, and afterword took up the hobby of torturing her servants to cure her bordem.

When her husband returned, he was unable to keep Elizabeth from torturing the servants. Perhaps this was because Nadasdy was considered to be a cruel military commander. However, he died mysteriously in 1604.  Some say he died in battle, while another account says he was murdered by a prostitute. Other’s believe he was killed by a rival Transylvanian General, Giorgio Basta.

 As Elizabeth aged, she became fanatically concerned with staying beatiful. She ordered one of her maids to be killed. The maid was decapitated, and her stump of a neck was held over a bath tub, so the blood from the artiries and veins in her neck would fill up the tub with blood. Elizabeth then bathed herself in the still warm blood, believing it would make her youthful again. With four of her servants kept alive to help her, Elizabeth had another servant murdered and drained into the tub everytime she wanted to take a bath. Eventually she ran out of servants, and began inviting guests to her house, having them murdered as well. Soon would be guests wised up enough to disregard her invitations. Finally, Elizabeth resorted to having people kidnapped. Unfortunatly for her, one of kidnapped escaped.

The escaped kidnap victim soon alerted others of Elizabeth’s evil doings. Finally, in 1610 assigned Gyorgy Thurzo to investigate Elizabeth. When he arrived at Chatice Castle, he found one girl there already dead, and another one dying. Others were locked up in the castle. He had Elizabeth and her four servants who helped in the murders arrested. The servants were put on trial. One was found innocent, as she had been forced to help Elizabeth. Two had their fingers cut off, and then were burned alive. The fourth was found guilty, but to a lesser extent, and was given the lighter sentance of being beheaded, before being thrown into the fire.

Elizabeth herself was deemed insane, and placed under house arrest. She was put into her room, and the door was walled up, with only a small hole to slid food and water through. Elizabeth lived the rest of her life there, dying in 1614, never to have a bath again.  Today, many people believe that she was in fact, a vampire.

I can just imagine myself in a 200 year old house with a history of violent death and destruction.   Fully restored on the inside since I do enjoy my modern comforts, however the outside surrounded by a high wrought iron fence and to be best known as the witch in the haunted house.   Ah I suppose we all have our dreams don’t we?

While at the funeral of her own mother, a woman met a man who she did not know. She thought he was ‘amazing’. She believed him to be her dream partner so much that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.

She was hoping the guy would appear again at her sister’s funeral. If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test developed by a famous American psychologist, used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer.

I have a number of projects in the works for August, since most everything was pushed back to make room for numerous excursions and time for myself.  I have been trying to adjust my life to make room for a bit more indulgence and fun.  In doing that I have cut back my involvement in various projects and started carving out more time to just relax and unwind which seems to be a lost art at times.

If you will notice the front page of Bay City Blues is now an arena very much suited to meeting the exceptional girls who work there.  I will be posting from time to time there; perhaps even sharing and exclusive photo from my members area to tantalize your senses and weaken your will to resist.  Wait.. can you resist your darker urges?  Mmmm I suppose that remains to be seen, I certainly hope not *smile*

I find myself with a new interest in learning more about Voodoo.  I have read a bit and I find the practice not so dissimilar than my own practices and I have a craving to know more. 

I am slipping off now… don’t do anything that *I* wouldn’t do *slow smile*  Think of the possibilities…

While I was working on my site, I noticed it has been nearly a month since I have updated this blog and while I am not really apologizing I do acknowledge the fact that I am a bit behind *laugh*   You will see some new sections or pages if you will.  Forced Intoxication will be added to my services, and never fear my dears… I of course will have some ground rules for you in the course of my fucking you up beyond belief.  I have also added a section for Client Feedback.  I will be publishing feedback from my sessions, client remarks and observations.  Identities will be *ahem* altered to protect the guilty so feel free to speak your mind.  If you would like to submit feedback, please E-Mail it to me at mskelley@alexandrakelley.com and be sure to entitle it “feedback” so I know what it is for.
