It seemed an opportune time to revisit my blog that has been woefully neglected since Samhain.  I have been a very very busy Goddess these days.  But I did have a moment to remind those of you lucky enough to live close to the Mutter Museum in PA to be sure and visit.  How can you resist this place?  A mere $14 will get you access to one of the worlds most incredible collections of human anomalies.

The Mütter Museum was founded to educate future doctors about anatomy and human medical anomalies. Today, it serves as a valuable resource for educating and enlightening the public about our medical past and telling important stories about what it means to be human. The Mütter Museum embodies The College of Physicians of Philadelphia’s mission to advance the cause of health, and uphold the ideals and heritage of medicine.

Our History

In 1858, Thomas Dent Mütter, retired Professor of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College , presented his personal collection of unique anatomic and pathological materials to The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Our collection now boasts over 20,000 unforgettable objects. These include fluid-preserved anatomical and pathological specimens; skeletal and dried specimens, medical instruments and apparati; anatomical and pathological models in plaster, wax, papier-mâché, and plastic; memorabilia of famous scientists and physicians; medical illustrations, photographs, prints, and portraits. In addition, we offer changing exhibits on a variety of medical and historical topics.

• The plaster cast of the torso of world-famous Siamese Twins, Chang & Eng, and their conjoined livers

I’ve just finished watching Serenity and yet again marvel at the idiocy that led to the cancellation of Firefly.  So much potential, eliminated by a few narrow minds.  Thank you again Nathan… it is a lovely gift.

Now.. on to Angel Lust.. or Erections at the point of death.  I was asked to expand on the subject so here it is…

A death erection, angel lust, or terminal erection is a post-mortem erection, technically a priapism, observed in the corpses of human males who have been executed, particularly by hanging.  

The phenomenon has been attributed to pressure on the cerebellum created by the noose.  Spinal cord injuries are known to be associated with priapism. Injuries to the cerebellum or spinal cord are often associated with priapism in living patients.

Death by hanging, whether an execution or a suicide, has been observed to affect the genitals of both men and women.

In women, the labia will become engorged and there may be a discharge of blood from the vagina. In men, “a more or less complete state of erection of the penis, with discharge of urine, of mucus, or of the prostatic fluid, is a frequent occurrence … present in one case in three.” Other causes of death may also result in these effects, including fatal gunshot wounds to the brain, damage to major blood vessels, or violent death by poisoning. Forensically, a postmortem priapism is an indicator that death was likely swift and violent

Isn’t this a lovely concept?  Le Rituel brings to life the traditions of 19th century Russia in a simply delightful manner.  While a rather expensive tribute, it is a unique idea and that earns my admiration in any case.

I am pondering a new project and need to find a willing slave to gather fresh sage for me ~smile~  Of course you must live in a place such things are grown and have an unlimited supply.  Or I could go the easier route and just find a wholesaler of such things and purchase it like anyone else, but I know you do love a challenge sometimes.  So if you are interested.. do contact me. 

I have been oddly quiet the last week or so I know, but I am lining out some shall we say ~ amusements ~to keep me busy over the long upcoming winter months, the least of which is finding a lovely puppy to occupy my time.  I have found a few that I quite like, however it doesn’t seem to be in the cards until after the holidays *sighs*  Perhaps I will get a kitten as well, a short haired black kitten or perhaps a solid white one.  Hmm it gives one food for thought at least.  Does anyone but me notice I have these urges in the off season for kittens and puppies?

I had a delightful conversation with Alan about our favorite films and horror movies, and it resulted in his homework assignment for the weekend.    Personally I tend to lean toward psychological thrillers but have been known to dabble in a comedy or three. But it did raise the question.. what are your favorite films?  What do you curl up with on a quiet night, and what scares the beejezus out of you and gives you nightmares?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Robert and I are off to a potentially lovely relationship.  I find him to be an intelligent and articulate partner and I am much looking forward to our next session.  Slut Mitch is as always planning and scheming to get his hands on or into something new.  A lovely trip completely at my mercy does come to mind and don’t think I am not plotting some interesting  things for you my dear ~smile

I am feeling especially morbid today.. who wants to be my pain slut?  Maybe I shall bury you alive  and watch through the window as you panic and gasp your way to death.. of course giving you a breath of fresh air here and there to prolong your agony. Or perhaps we will go with a slower more gruesome death that involves blood, fire, insects and any number of delicious assortments.  Then again… you might enjoy slipping into the morgue to find a fresh young thing to play with yourself. Necrophilia is always best with a fresh corpse I would think…Hmm the possibilities.

Many of you use a 10 minute session as an introductory piece, in my mind.. this is the correct usage for such a session. 

However, there are the few of you foolish children who need to be educated.  In  a mere 10 minutes, I cannot perform such miracles as a hypnosis session, extreme edge play of any sort,  or certainly I will never give you a blow job in that same 10 minutes.  In fact… I will never give you a blow job… so you might want to give up that dream now.

Edge play takes time and a certain state of mind.  As does hypnosis.  If you are not prepared to dedicate the time,  do not waste mine.

How time does fly when one is busy.  It seems like yesterday that we were welcoming in the New Year, yet we are soon to be saying goodbye to it and embracing yet another season of life.

Nothing puts me in a better mood than receiving a box of gifts from loyal clientele and slaves!  I find myself in a much better mood this Monday, than I was when I slipped out of bed.    Thank you for your appreciation ~smile

I have over the weekend, decided to expand my personal family in the near future with a puppy.  Some would say that I should wait until spring, but those that know me best, know without a doubt once I set my mind to something,  there is really no point in my waiting.  Of course I shall want the best  of everything for my new addition, nice large outdoor run, complete with a cooling system and of course possibly a heated kennel area for those evenings where its chilly and I am not home.  Oh. What kind of puppy?  ~laughs~ An English Mastiff  I believe.    Since my beloved Rottweiler died I have been considering suitable replacements and I think its time for a fresh guard at the throne.

I am also working on a new area of  my website.  You may have noticed the link for The Doghouse, rest assured it will be a place to make sure everyone gets what they want ~smile.  Perhaps I will even finish it today for your pleasure.
